how do i cancel
apple or google handle the subscription, so cancelling happens there. on iphone go to settings, your name, subscriptions, skriblio. on android go to the play store, your profile, payments and subscriptions. the app also has a manage subscription link on the plans screen, and cancelling keeps access until the period ends.
how do i get a refund
that's also apple or google. on iphone go to reportaproblem.apple.com, signed in with the same apple account. on android go to the play store, your profile, payments and subscriptions, the order, then request a refund. we can't see your card or move money, so we can't do it for you.
how do i get my journal out
go to you, then export data. you get one markdown file, a pdf laid out to print, or a zip with everything, photos and care log included. this works with or without a plan, and from the plans screen after the free two weeks.
how do i delete my account
go to you, then delete account, then confirm. it's immediate, photos first and then every row that belongs to you. your friends stop being messaged at once, and there's no waiting period and no email to write.
what exactly do my friends get
after five quiet days they get one message: hi maya. this is sam's banana. sam has not written in 5 days. you could ask how they are. reply mute to stop these. then they get at most two more, four days apart, and one line when you write again. they never get a word of what you wrote, a mood, or a photo. the number isn't live yet, so nothing goes out on its own today.
a friend is getting messages and doesn't want them
they can reply mute, or you can remove them under friends. either one is immediate, and their number is purged after 30 days. if something went wrong, write to us with the number and we'll confirm it's gone.
a friend replied mute by mistake
mute is final for that invite, so send a fresh invite from friends and they can say yes again.
i want a break without removing anyone
go to friends, then pause. it lasts thirty days, and the next possible message date is shown so nothing is a surprise. write once and the count resets anyway.
new phone
install skriblio and sign in with the same email. a six digit code arrives and there's no password. your entries, photos, banana and friends are all there, and the old phone signs out when you delete the app.
the transcript is wrong
open the entry and fix the word under the photo. this phone remembers the swap for the next page, and the photo stays as you took it. nothing trains on the pages, and typing it in the cloud asks you first.
face id
go to you, then face id lock. it's off until you turn it on. on android it's your fingerprint or face, whatever the phone uses. the lock covers the app, and the widget shows only the banana and its line, never an entry.
the mac or windows banana
it needs the phone app. in the app go to you, then pair a computer, make a code and type it on the computer. it's included in both plans, and the downloads switch on when the builds are signed: mac, windows.
why 18 and over
under south african law a journal and a list of friends count as personal information. the law treats everyone under 18 as a child who needs a parent's consent. we'd rather build that properly than badly, so for now it's adults only.
what it costs, and in which currency
the first two weeks are free. after that it's $49.99 a year or $9.99 a month, and apple and google show the price in your currency.
